NOT EVERY BODY
NEEDS THE SAME THING.
At Rooted Wellness, your care isn't built from a one-size-fits-all checklist. We look at what you're experiencing, how you're moving, what feels restricted, and what you're trying to get back to doing.
Depending on your needs, Dr. Jones and Dr. Skyler may incorporate supportive therapies alongside chiropractic care to address muscles, soft tissue, mobility, discomfort, and recovery.
DIFFERENT TOOLS FOR DIFFERENT NEEDS.
These therapies may be used individually or incorporated into a larger care plan depending on your symptoms, comfort level, and goals.
TENS THERAPY
TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. It uses low-voltage electrical stimulation delivered through pads placed on the skin.
The intensity can be adjusted to your comfort level, making TENS a simple, non-invasive option that may be incorporated into care for pain and muscle tension.
CUPPING
THERAPY
Cupping uses specialized cups to create gentle suction against the skin and underlying soft tissues.
Unlike techniques that press into tight tissue, cupping creates a lifting effect. It may be used to address areas of muscular tension, encourage local circulation, and help you feel less restricted.
Yes, cupping can leave temporary marks.
Those familiar circular marks can happen after cupping and may last for several days. We'll explain what to expect before treatment and adjust the technique based on your comfort and needs.
SCRAPING
THERAPY
Scraping therapy uses a specialized handheld tool that is moved across the skin and underlying soft tissues.
The technique can be used to work with tight muscles and fascia, stimulate local circulation, and address areas where soft tissue restrictions may be affecting comfortable movement.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO FIGURE THAT OUT.
That's our job. We'll evaluate what's going on and decide together which techniques make sense for your care.
Electrical Stimulation
Often selected when pain management or muscle relaxation is a priority.
Sound Waves
May be incorporated when we're working with muscles, tendons, ligaments, or other soft tissues.
Suction
A different approach to tight or overworked soft tissue that creates lift rather than compression.
Soft Tissue Mobilization
Often used when tight or restricted soft tissue is affecting comfortable movement.
IT ALL STARTS WITH LISTENING.
Before choosing a technique, we want to understand what's bothering you, what you've already tried, how your symptoms affect your everyday life, and what you'd like to accomplish.
From there, Dr. Jones and Dr. Skyler can determine which chiropractic techniques and supportive therapies may be appropriate for you.
